1000 reps of pushups2010 games style, situps,sit thrus,sts,k2e,wallball,burpees, kb swings, bw deads/ 1 bw thruster equals 30 reps. One teammate must attempt one thruster. Each teammate must do at least one Rep of every exercise(excluding thruster).... one teammate works the other rests. Split work however. See board for KB weights.

Hey is anyone interested in doing a group WOD Fri. evening? Kim and I can't make the 5pm class, sense the time has changed. We were thinking 6:30, on a regular basis. It would be good to help keep up the intensity.

I would be interested, Not really excited about open gym 3x a week.

Not really sure what I'm going to do in the long run. This is not what I signed up for. If I have to do the WODS on my own all the time, I might as well do them at home or a box gym.

so do that Laurie... we have classes at 6am 630am, noon, open gym at 130, 5pm, and then from 600-730. I am personally tired of people bitching about this. Ian is a great guy who opened up the gym for us. He also has obligations to jiu Jitsu which is also several classes every day... not just to crossfit. I am going to be teaching three classes per week without pay because I want to help people. If they cant make my class, so be it. It is nothing personal, it is a business decision. sorry if this sounded brutal. I am not an asshole,Ian could alway pay me. I wouldn't complain. He just would be able to afford stuff like equipment, air conditioning, and all of the other things many take for granted.
BTW Ian would never say stuff like this because he truly cares about people and wants to make everyone happy.

Wow I don't think that was necessary Adam. Little hot headed . I'm not bitchimg but dissapointed that the gym took away my options for woking out in group WODS. That is what I Joined Crossfit for.

So Adam, If you are going to be teaching 3 classes how about Mon, Wed, Fri at 6:30 PM?? I can guarentee you at leat 1 person at those classes :)

it was entirely necessary. There are already open gym scheduled for that time, so I will not do them. I am not hot headed. I am not the one who wanted to cut into my training time by starting an arguement with Ian. If anything, there are skill classes during this time which would help you with form so someone will be there to hold your hand. Laurie, we are here for you if needed, but I am not one to put up with negative attitudes in the gym.

Hey Adam,
I don't think we need to air everything out on the Crossfit blog. You know maybe you have had some time to process these change but for me I just heard about it when Ian made the comment at the start of class. I was shocked and taken back at this decison, and for the fact that this is how I found out about it. Yes I had questions and concerns, maybe that is not the appropiate place to make that kind of announcement. That is for me and Ian to work out. I'm also quite sure he would not be happy with you telling his clients to take a hike.

I have never had a negative attitude at the gym, I now have some scheduling problems that need to be worked out, & yes sorry for that 1 night if it affected my attitude, but it does directly affect me. I think it also affects many others in that the gym has now taken another group WOD option away.

There is going to be some discussion between those of us it affects and were blinsided by this decision, while we try to make the appropriate adjustments.

Sorry to the rest of you that have had to read all this garbage.

Joel, I am almost always there 6:30pm Fridays (and Mondays), and Matt usually meets me for Friday as well. I am sure we can keep a fun, regular 6:30pm crew going - do the WOD or sometimes the skills class if we want more coaching. (Of course, this may require that you and Kim being "our friends with a boat...") Look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow night!!

(p.s. adam, we know it is your job to REGULATE and it is always appreciated!!!)

@ Wade and Stacy - watch out MY LITTLE PONY, the other last place team is planning their attack... ;)

I agree that it is not necessary for people to read stupid shit on this blog, but I never told you take a hike, i was just supportive of you if you decided that if working out out your home or where ever would be a better option. I really know that Ian tries hard to help everyone, but he can't be everywhere at once. he is a business owner and sometimes that takes making a decision that is gonna piss people off. It is HIS business to run as he sees fit

Adam, your loyalty and friendship are deeply appreciated.

Laurie, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. At any given time someone that trains with us is unhappy about something and I promise you I take it personally every time. I truly do want to make each person's experience the best it can be and it is always upsetting to me when one of our own feels like they are not getting what they need.

Do your best to make it work for a little while. We will have a 6 or 6:30 class staffed in the future. That is a very natural time to fill. It's just that right now our resources are limited and we are juggling a lot of projects within the schedule. That class was consistently under attended, unfortunately switching it to open gym/skills class has a big impact on you personally.

Maybe you could talk with Chappy about doing some training in the Oly Class too. Tuesday/Thursday at 6:30. That might be fun and something different.

Again I apologize for the interruption and please know that you are very much appreciated and a lot of fun to have at the gym.

You and I can discuss this more privately, I would be happy to.
