7 teams left to go. Lets get this done by saturday @ 5 please..... Good work Ian and Adam. If you guys want a team name let me know. Lorie and I are Team Cougar and Kub.
Yeah..Ian and Adam you guys really brought it. 8 more rounds than Kyle and I got...hmmm I guess I would have expected more from a gym owner and a cop, but that's just me.
for this wod there will not be anything to average it out. Ian and Adam had the advantage of seeing 2 teams do this workout before they went. So do the math and bust ass. For future workouts there wont be as much variance in times/weights. At least that's the plan, I'm new at this programming business.
Some of the teams were chatting and thought that either a % would be taken off the men's weights or a % would be added to the women's weight to an RX'd standard.
Similar to the Mainsite WODs they only list the Men's weight and then Women figure their weight based on that days WOD
oh man. Ian has to be smiling about this whole conversation. For this first workout I wanted to see what would happen for a pick your own weight scenario. So lets get through this week and you will see next weeks wod is completely different. I have a plan for weights and mods to exercises. I'm not taking away weight or adding weight this week after the fact, that's not fair to the teams that have already gone.(remember that your place in the wod for the week determines team points up to 10 points for first. So its not like ian and Adam are going to carry that 7000lb lead the whole time.) Corene I promise it will be fair and you wont b at a disadvantage.
Kub and me did 84 reps...which means gym owner and cop did 8 more rounds than us, at a total of 50lbs more each round than what we did.
So..Adam..I wouldn't say 50 more lbs for you and Ian to lift is a LOT more than us seeing your size and what you two can usually put up. But I will say congrats on beating us...THIS TIME!
OK..here we go Corene... 50lbs more per round is what they did...50 X 84 = 4200 lbs...then they did 8 more rounds at 200lbs per round 8 X 200 = 1600. So, 4200 + 1600 = 5800lbs
Make sense. I obviously have a ton of time at work today!
Cougar and kub 84 reps. Kub 95lbs coug 55lbs total 150 lbsx84 12,600. Deputy dawg and gym owner 92 reps 100 lbs each.total 200lbsx92 18,400. Jason and Terry 71 reps. Terry 95lbs Jason 115lbs. Total 210lbsx71 14,910. (Which means I did the math wrong yesterday.)

Man Kyle, you really take the fun out of things for me.
Oh I have shit to talk. Its not blog appropriate though.

It's cool Ian, I hear next week might be pullups ;)
If you want to see the show team Dr.J will be WODing around 630pm tonight. I might be a gimp but I dominate snatch!
@Kub
What will be the MOD to average out the team weights?/Times?

Jen C and I are the only girl/girl team (I know what you're thinking!), but how will that be "scaled"?

Fair enough.
Note to self: Shut up, work hard, move large loads/ long distances/ quickly, and motivated you teamate to do the same.
You dominate snatch?
i'm sorry did I misspell something?
Side note: my verification word is fookin
thats fookin awesome!
You're right Kyle, it does warm my heart a little.
And I don't appreciate you trying to take away from the extremely manly performance Adam and I laid down last night.
I'm not sure Ian if you can put "manly" and "laid down" in the same sentence wihout some sort of snicker!
I guess that depends how you interpret it huh Lorie?
Not to worry Kyle . . . you're doing awesome just getting this whole thing off the ground . . . no pun intended ;)
Lorie, I know! We only got 8 more rounds. too bad it was with a helluva lot more weight too...
BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can feel the sizzle all the way downtown!
If Ian and Adam only did 8 more rounds @ 200 pounds per round, how come they got 5800 more total pounds?
Corene: 18,400(lbs)/200(lbs)=92 reps
Kub and me did 84 reps...which means gym owner and cop did 8 more rounds than us, at a total of 50lbs more each round than what we did.

I am like "peeing my pants" excite about WODing tonight! I heart trash talk big kine.
Lorie - So where does the additional 5800 pounds come in? (math is not my strong point)
Its seems like we should record Total weight/ reps of each person and their weight.
OK..here we go Corene...
50lbs more per round is what they did...50 X 84 = 4200 lbs...then they did 8 more rounds at 200lbs per round 8 X 200 = 1600. So, 4200 + 1600 = 5800lbs

Got it! Thanks LoriE!
Cougar and kub 84 reps. Kub 95lbs coug 55lbs total 150 lbsx84 12,600.
Deputy dawg and gym owner 92 reps 100 lbs each.total 200lbsx92 18,400.
Jason and Terry 71 reps. Terry 95lbs Jason 115lbs. Total 210lbsx71 14,910. (Which means I did the math wrong yesterday.)
Jenn C - 86 reps x 55# = 4730
Corene - 86 reps x 55# = 4730
Total = 9460
I was told there'd be no math
I like and miss the trash talking too! you are all a bunch of pansies!
Trash talking from Team Gym-owner & The Garden Gnome
The "garden gnome" comment had me spitting water all over the keyboard.Team My Little Pony had an off day but will ride again!
I can't take the credit. A fireman shared that nickname with me.
Condor - You really shouldn't rat Chappy out when he's not here to defend himself!
Kyle Terry says they did 79 reps making their total you had posted originally.
My bad. Ill fix it.
Bad Form = Bad Back = Will power = Highest total individual!!!
Thanks Dr. Hopp For telling me to keep going!
Team Toal: 14,775
Dr.-113 reps @45
