Deadlift

Overhead Squats

then...

finish with 15 reps of a lower weight for the lift you did. This should be hard!


Brent: 315/225 x 15
Troy: 265/165 x 15
Derek: 235/145 x 15
Corene: 195/123 x 15 (PR!)
Lorie: 130/93 x 15
John: 55/35 x 15
Matt: 225/185 x 15 (made up the following day)

Great job! Let me know if I missed any other PR's. If you had no idea what you could deadlift or had not done it with any real weight before today we'll just say... "awesome job Lorie and Derek!" and you can get a new PR next time now that you have a reference point - even though this was a PR of sorts too. And kudos to John for working on the very challenging overhead squat. I know that is a tough movement.

I had a great experience with my first CrossFit lesson with Jeremy. It was great meeting everyone who was still at the gym after 7pm, and I can't wait until I'm ready to join group! Thanks for welcoming me!
