WOD 7/24/09

"The Bear Complex"

Perform 5 rounds with 7 sets each round of the following sequence:
Power Clean

Front Squat
Push Press
Back Squat
Push Press

There is no time component. Rest between rounds as needed. Progressively increase weight to get to your max load on round 5. Oh yea, no rest except between rounds. That is to say, 7 whole sets must be performed before you can set the bar down.

Nice job guys! Some great improvements. Ben with a sick 157! (sorry I bailed on you for your last set Ben - got distracted. Inexcusable! And thanks for helping me try and get through mine) Congrats Jennifer on your first group WOD. Here's to many more.

As for me, I got ate by "The Bear" tonight. I will have my revenge.

Awww! Your coming back for my b-day WOD!! isn't it always awkward around the gym? Naked men, crooked jog bras, the fact that I look the same as last time we did this! UG! ;) bring beer for a cheer!

5th round - 3 sets at 105#...failed, 2 sets at 95#...failed...ended with 7 at 75#....yippee.

Thanks Ian! And last time you had to convice me to try and go for the 43lbs!!!

You did awesome too even with your bear munching! I loved the outfir changes!!

Should go heavier earlier and fix wrist strain. It seemed to be the limiting factor.

Ladies you all Rocked it! GREAT JOB!! As for you Karen...you are a true ROCK STAR!! I was totally eaten by the bear. I hate him.
