I don’t know if this has been around for a bit but I did it for the first time today. When I arrived at the gym I was bit off from the Nachos and from doing cleans poorly about a week and a half ago. I decided to focus on form and consistency rather than speed and weight. The workout was good, definitely not up to standard WOD intensity, but I was very pleased with my results. I found by doing the WOD with moderate weight (about 60% of Rx) I was able to get a decent workout in and remain focused on solid form which enabled me to make some breakthroughs that will help me in the future.
I am thinking about using this practice instead of a rest day at least twice per month… form active recovery training – which spell FART… going to the gym to FART around.

Derek - i think 6 HPC from the #3 position on the leader board is a hell of a good job!!! Way to go!
