Games Competitors...

If you can, come in on Thursday/Friday and work on the movements from the six WOD's. Specifically whatever you feel weak in. Just practice efficient technique. Then at the end, do a few with the prescribed weight where applicable. This is just movement practice and familiarizing yourself with the prescribed weight. Minimal exertion!

Also, I am bringing drinks to the games. Let me know with any special requests. Will have water and vitamin water.

Can we get some volunteers for snacks (bars, apples, oranges, bananas, nuts, cheese, jerky, etc.) and bigger food stuffs (sandwiches, pasta etc.)? I still haven't read anything about catering at the event. Have you?

I will bring some string cheese, nuts and I was thinking of getting that chicken pasta salad from Whole Foods. I can bring some bars as well..what is the best type that everyone would like?

**Also..would anyone be interested in coming in tonight after the WOD to work on some of the exercises? Anyone who specifically knows how to do them would be great!! ;)

Sounds like you guys have it under control! I will be popping in to cheer and watch so just let me know if you need anything. (Ice, bandaids, vodka, chalk, brow wiped, store run... :))

I am looking forward to coming and seeing you all Kick ASS and represent!
I am trying to talk Ang into making her protein bars but it may be me making them - sorry in advance.
I only have one question: what time are the games starting? I have to be strategic about my time with the baby :)

Scratch that, just found it - See you all there...:

The opening address is at 9:00 AM, with the first heats starting at 9:30 AM. The first two events will be run simultaneously. There will be a seperate warm-up area, and you will not know what heat you are in until 9:15 AM. So you will need to be at the gym early enough to be warmed up and ready to go at 9:30 AM. Half of the athletes will do event 1, while the other half are doing event 2. Then the two groups will switch.

The third event will start at 3:00 PM. Saturday's events will finish by 6:00 PM. We will finish the day with choosing Sunday's workout from the hopper. It should be exciting.
